Playa del Inglés is lovely. It's a small natural black-sand beach tucked away at the end of the Valle Gran Rey coast, beneath towering cliffs, facing west. The sea has some fantastic waves, but you need to be careful as the currents are quite strong.
It's very popular with naturists, especially Germans. About half the people there would be nude, the rest topless. In the evenings, people gather on the beach to play music and watch the sun go down.
It's very accessible, with parking beside the beach. There are no facilities there except the girl who visits a couple of times a day selling drinks, but there are shops and cafés in the village just 1km away.
Valle Gran Rey itself is a nice friendly place. The area is getting quite touristy, but it still hasn't lost the laid-back feel of when it used to be a hippy hangout. A wonderful place, and I'm going back again this year!
