My wife and I spent the morning at the beach at Agia Galini, beautiful little place, really nice to walk around, lots of restaurants etc and not too busy for the time of year. The beach front was really nice, lots of sun loungers and parasols for cheap hire. We spent several hours chilling out on the beach which was a good mix of ages and sizes of people but only a few ladies topless. I walked further down the south side of the beach and there was a few naturist couples so I stripped off and went for my first Medi-skinni-dip. Felt amazing but the area was difficult walking at the beach front, rocky and I must have looked comical getting back out the sea!
So, on my return to where my wife was I said lets not bother with that area for our first naturist beach day but lets drive to Komos beach and see what that one is like. About a 30min drive.
Great decision, easy to get to, 2 Euro parking, little caravan with seating area for snacks etc then a few minute walk north on the excellent sand to the naturist area of the beach. On finding a suitable area not too close or too far away from other couples, we both just stripped off and started to prepare our towels on the beach etc. Then we went straight into the sea, wow so new to us doing that but felt amazing.
We had about 15 mins in the sea which was very clear and for the end of Sept was very warm.
We both walked out together with that feeling of...... what happens next??? but no-one battered an eye-lid, it just felt so normal and refreshing!! We then had a few hours of sunbathing and swimming before heading back to our hotel. We went back a few days later and had the same experience, excellent! Definitely recommend this beach to anyone like us new to the style.
