Sitting high on a hillside, Finca Xanadu is surrounded by almond and olive groves, and pines stretching up into a natural park in this beautiful part of inland Spain.
The main attraction at Finca Xanadu has to be the incredible infinity pool.
The pool has a long, curved infinity edge which overlooks the almond and olive groves, and the town below and with spectacular views stretching to the hills and fields beyond.
At night it’s even better when its lights show off just how stunning the setting is.
The pool is overlooked by all four of the beautiful bedrooms at Xanadu.
All have their own bath or shower rooms and are tastefully furnished with your comfort in mind, with wonderfully comfy superking or kingsize beds.
All are equipped with premium quality linen, soft towels and toiletries and sun cream is also available free of charge.
Travel light with hand luggage only because pool towels are provided and you certainly will not need many clothes.
Inside you will also find a cool lounge. Feel free to help yourself to a book from the well-stocked bookcase and curl up in a chair if you need a break from the heat. Free WiFi is available everywhere.

A light lunch of usually salads, cold meats, quiches etc. is served on the terrace at around 2.30 and gives guests the chance to sit and chat with each other in the shade for a while before returning to the terrace, which has luxury sun loungers, for another session of relaxation.
Food is all important on holiday and every day is a dinner party at Xanadu.

The bar at Xanadu is always open…and well stocked with premium spirits and good quality local wines, cava and beer.
Soft drinks, mixers and bottled water are also available and there is also a water cooler with fresh spring water from Velez Blanco, just up the hill.
The house is built on the footprint of an old ruined Finca and sits against the hillside, making the inside cool even when the temperatures outside hit the high 30s.
Because of the situation of Finca Xanadu, you will often see majestic Golden Eagles or Griffon Vultures drifting on the wind currents overhead, together with many other types of bird or wildlife in the area.
You may well want to spend the whole of your holiday chilling out and relaxing by the pool.
However, should you wish to venture further afield there are many places of interest in the area.
