My wife and I stayed at the Riu Place in Costa Calma in February 2008. It looks out on the fabulous Sotovento beach. I got up most mornings for a swim in the sea at sunrise. I love to swim nude and it was the only time that I could as my wife is not keen on naturism.
Anyway on the fourth day we decided to walk on Sotaveno Beach along the sand spit that runs for about 4 KM. Others were walking the spit too so we assumed that it would be ok to walk the whole length and visit the bar on the beach at the far end. After 4KM we came to the end of the spit where the water was about 4 ft deep and 50 ft wide. We could see the bar about 0.5KM away and didn't want to walk all the way back and around (about 8KM).
Another couple arrived and just stripped off and walked across with their clothes held above their head. So I said to my wife "how about it?" And she just stripped off and waded in. I was delighted. She looked so beautiful naked on the beach. When we got to the other side we sunbathed for 30 mins to dry off then got up and continued our walk naked. A wonderful day followed by many others enjoying the beach nude.
My wife is a convert now.
