Plage des Lays. Near Notre Dame de Monts. Vendee. France.
Super beach we have been to many times....usually very quiet. Plenty of little nooks in the dunes to pitch seats with just the odd person going past...none intrusive. Lovely beach for sea glass collection if you are so inclined. Fair number of couples near but not close, some choosing to sit on the beach. Huge naturist beach at low tide, very clean, stretching from about 200 metres from car park for about another 800 metres. Good parking almost on beach then an easy walk along beach to naturist section, the beach is well signposted from Le Grollier and parking actually at Plage de la Paree Grollier. No facilities however. August 2018.
