Studland

I decided to visit the BN beach day at Studland last weekend, now that myself and wife have bared all at Euronat. I thought a day out to my local naturist beach has got to be worth a go.
Studland is such a lovely place the sand is nice and white, it is also a nice safe place to swim. You have to walk out for ages before it gets deep, and to top it off the views are great.
It was a shame that more people did not turn up as the weather was just right. The people who did turn up were nice and friendly, a few were playing games on the beach and the BN crew had free drinks as well as plenty to say about naturism and it was nice to talk to like minded people.
I have talked to a lot of people who say they would go nude abroad but not in the UK, and people who say they would not go nude just in case they bump into someone they know whether it be on a nudist beach or local club. The way I see it if you do bump into someone in those circumstances then surely that is good as it means that you must have more in common than you first knew.
If you have never visited Studland I can recommend it. As a family day out it was great.

Having just got back from Studland which at the time we did not know it had a naturist beach we found that even on a October day when the sun is out in full, you may get a lot of people walking their dogs or ridlng horses. You can still walk or get your towel out without feeling out of place even if you are the only ones who are naked without that feeling of them and us. You can just get on with what you are doing and enjoying the beach clothed or not.

Studland on any sunny Summer weekend is just THE place for any naturist to be. Hundreds of naked folk there may be, but there is always room for more at this excellent sandy beach with clear shallow water that is safe for swimming.

Happy co-existence with textiles has (in the main) lasted for many years. When my parent took me there regularly from Swanage over 50 years ago we used to think it "busy" if there were a handful of naturists about.

There are a few other better beaches - but they are definitely not in the UK.

Best time to visit - before the first ferry crosses from Sandbanks on a fine clear sunny morning. Make yours the first prints in the fresh sand the tide has left. Wander naked with a loved one - and enjoy every moment.
